Dr. Atta performs your double chin removal surgery in DHA Lahore, Pakistan under general anesthesia. Procedure starts with infusing the neck and chin region with a special fluid mixture (called tumescent fluid) that contains a local anesthetic and saline fluid, among other medications. The fluid helps to facilitate easier fat removal, and minimizes bleeding and post-operative discomfort. Dr. Atta performs the Liposuction to a uniform degree of fat thickness, thus achieving a natural looking result. The incision is stitched back together with a single stitch. A dressing is applied and you are gently awakened from anesthesia.

The procedure is best suited for patients who have excess fat in their neck without sagging, stretched, or loose neck skin. If loose skin exists, a Neck Lift is likely more appropriate. The majority of patients return to non-strenuous work at 3-5 days. You will be allowed to start light exercise at 1 week after surgery. Avoid strenuous activity until 3 weeks after surgery.

Most of the times we do not get any complain about pain but some patients do complain of the tightness and pressure of the facial garment. Pain medications are usually only required the first 3-4 days.
